The Goods; Live Hard Sell Hard

I went into watching this movie with no expectations, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is vulgar, not kid friendly at all but it had some laugh out loud moments. The plot is basically about a used car dealership that is almost going bankrupt so they call in a 'hired gun' Don Ready whose specialty is selling lots of cars in a big care sale blow out.
The whole cast is hilarious, and there is a cameo by Alan Thicke as a rival car salesman who is trying to buy the lot, so his son who is in a 'man band' called Big Ups which is hilarious. Pretty much this whole movie was great just watch it with low expectations and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

Paranormal Activity

So in the spirit of Halloween I decided to watch a horror movie while my husband slept. I looked through my Instant queue on Netflix and chose Paranormal Activity because I had heard how 'scary' the movie was. So I plunked down and watched it. Without spoiling too much I have to say this movie really was not scary other than for the last 5 minutes. The man in the movie does everything he possibly could, wrong. And I guess since I have a bit of an understanding and I admit I am not an expert, I just could not help but think the guy deserved whatever he got. The woman on the other hand I was a bit more sympathetic towards.... Everything that happened to her was because of her fiance boyfriend whatever..... I wished she had had more of a backbone though.... All in all though... Not really scary... Other than quite literally the last 5 minutes....

Dead Like Me

So I went to Wal-Mart to get cat food... I headed down to the electronics department and I was browsing DVD's and I found both season one and season two of this amazing series for only 10 bucks a piece... Look for my review of the episodes in the next couple of weeks...

Ok so this is a new blog. I don't know what I'm going to use it for.... I think maybe I'll use it for reviews of books and movies, and maybe a general rant of life. So let's see..... I am a happily married 29 year old who has a beautiful six year old daughter named Arilyn..... She is the highlight of my life, and you guys will probably hear a lot about her.... Hmmm.... Nothing much else at the moment....
